What this site collects.

CHAN ISSUE is an independent publication edited by Jay. The site is www.chanissue.press. Questions about this notice, and requests to delete a reading-list address, go to hello@chanissue.press.

If you join the reading list, you submit an email address. It is used to send field notes and publication updates that you asked for. It is not sold, and it is not passed to suppliers or to a separate commercial team.

The form is submitted to the form service at api.itilan.com, which stores the address so those messages can be sent. To have an address deleted, email hello@chanissue.press from that address and say so.

Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-M54WF7CXHL) loads only after you choose Accept. Until then, the analytics script is not requested. Reject leaves it off. The choice is stored in this browser as chanissue-analytics, not as an account.

If you accept, Google may set cookies and receive the pages you read, a truncated IP address, and technical details of the browser. That processing is described in Google’s privacy policy. You can withdraw the choice in this browser:

Stripe processes subscription payments and stores card details. CHAN ISSUE stores your Stripe customer and subscription identifiers, email address, billing status, and paid period so reports can be delivered and billing questions resolved. We do not store full card numbers. Stripe’s customer portal verifies your email address before you can manage your subscription. See Stripe’s privacy policy. Payment information is kept as needed for delivery, billing, and accounting; contact us with access or deletion requests. Payment confirmation pages do not load Google Analytics.
